1. About KOCCA


The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) is a South Korean government agency under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Established in 2009, OCCA is dedicated to advancing Korea’s content industry across diverse sectors, including broadcasting, gaming, animation, character licensing, comics/webtoons, creative storytelling and IP, music, fashion, and technology-driven content.


KOCCA supports these industries through initiatives in production, distribution, overseas expansion, financing, research and development (R&D), and infrastructure development.


In 2024, KOCCA launched its Italy Business Centre to serve as a hub for facilitating market entry and expanding partnerships between Korean content companies and Italy. The Centre leads various initiatives including business development programs, cultural exchange efforts, and research activities.

2. Recruitment Overview


Open Positions :Business Development & Marketing (1 position)

This is a junior-level position intended for candidates with approximately 3 years of relevant experience.


⚠️ Applicants must indicate the position you are applying for in the subject line of the application email. Upon selection, the final assignment may be adjusted through coordination, including a possible combination of responsibilities across roles.


Position Responsibilities

• Plan and execute business programs and promotional events

• Manage local publicity efforts, including media relations and social media campaigns

• Liaise with local government bodies and relevant partner organizations

• Build and maintain strategic networks with major local enterprises

3. Working Conditions


• Contract Type: six-month contract, with terms based on experience, responsibilities, and KOCCA's internal policies

• Probation: A 3-month probationary period applies. Contract renewal or extension will be subject to performance evaluation.

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Location: KOCCA Italy Business Centre (Milano)

• Holidays: In accordance with Italy labour laws and designated holidays by the Korean Embassy

• Other Benefits:

   o Medical insurance coverage as per local regulations

   o Overtime allowance provided according to internal guidelines and budget

4. Eligibility Criteria


Language Proficiency

• Able to handle documents in Korean and communicate with Korea headquarter, Fluency in Italian, English, and Korean is required.


Skills

• Proficient in MS Office and essential software applications


Work Location

• Milano downtown


Valid authorization to work in Italy is required.

Applicants must already possess a valid residence/work permit that allows legal employment in Italy for the full duration of the contract.

KOCCA does not provide visa sponsorship or support for work permit applications.


Preferred Qualifications

• Holders of job-related certifications are preferred.

Initial six-month contract, with terms determined based on experience, responsibilities, and KOCCA internal policies.
